The software 1AV Sound Recorder is a music recorder software for PC.
In order to record music from your PC you must capture the audio from the audio device ‘Stereo Mix’. By recording audio from ‘Stereo Mix’ you will be recording whatever is played on your speakers.
The audio device ‘Stereo Mix’ is not enabled by default so you must click the ‘speaker’ button on 1AV Sound Recorder and it will open the ‘Recording Devices’ panel for you. Right-click the mouse inside the panel and select ‘Show disabled devices’. At this point you should be seeing the ‘Stereo Mix’ device, enable it and you are ready to go. If after these steps you still don’t see the ‘Stereo Mix’ audio device then go to RealTek website and download and install audio drivers for your version of Windows and that will install the ‘Stereo Mix’ device on your system.
Once you have the ‘Stereo Mix’ audio device set to be the source for audio recording then all you have to do is tune your MP3 encoder settings to achieve your quality requirements and go ahead and click the ‘Record’ button and record the music you have playing on your PC.
