1AVStreamer is a live audio streaming server that allows you to broadcast your own Internet radio.
In order to be able to broadcast your voice mixed with audio tracks you must broadcast from the audio device named ‘Stereo Mix’. Right-click the mouse over the speaker icon on your system tray, select ‘Recording Devices’, then check to see if you spot the ‘Stereo Mix’ audio device, if you don’t right-click the mouse over the devices area and select ‘Show Disabled Devices’, if you still don’t see the ‘Stereo Mix’ audio device go to RealTek website and install the audio drivers corresponding to your version of Windows, that will install the ‘Stereo Mix’ device on your system.
In order for your voice to be captured you must select the ‘Microphone’ audio device, click on ‘Properties’, click the tab ‘Listen’, and check the box ‘Listen to this device’. This way you will be able to mix your voice with audio tracks.
1AVStreamer streams live audio through the mms protocol. This protocol is only supported by Microsoft. That means your listeners can listen to your Internet radio using Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player.
To start broadcasting you need only to click the ‘Play’ button. There aren’t complicated parameters or scripts or any command-line headache. 1AVStreamer makes it very easy to live stream your radio on the Internet.
