How to broadcast live video from your PC to your iPod, iPhone, or iPad.

In this article I explain how you can broadcast live video from your PC and watch it on your iPhone, iPod, or iPad from anywhere.

The program to make the broadcast can be 1AVStreamer, or ScreenCamera.Net. Both are one click to start broadcasting.

Both 1AVStreamer and ScreenCamera.Net act like Microsoft Media Servers which means the broadcast URL begins with mms like for example mms://156.4.36.125:8074.

The broadcast can be opened by all desktop media players: Windows media player, Winamp, VLC Media Player, and all media players that support the mms protocol.

At this point you have a running broadcast of your desktop screen, or your webcam or your TV tuner that you can view with any desktop media player. The question now is: How to view the live video on your iPod, iPhone or iPad? One word: OPlayerHD.

OPlayerHD Lite is a free media player for iOS that you can install from the Apple store here: OPlayerHD Lite and immediately after installation you will be able to view the mms streaming video feed. OPlayerHD Lite works for iPod. iPhone, and iPad.

That is it. Very simple, very efficient, the right way to go.
