How to create cool transitions to be used when switching video sources

The World is on the video and communication era, so more and more business deals are discussed and closed or lost on video conference rooms.

With that in mind PCWinSoft has created ScreenCamera.Net, a tool that takes the video conference experience to a whole new level.

ScreenCamera.Net is based on an object-oriented layer-by-layer frame-by-frame technology that allows you to create visual animations and to look real professional on video conference calls. ScreenCamera.Net is a real-time video studio so the other participants in the video conference room will have their jaws dropping after you unleash ScreenCamera.Net’s power over them.

Here in this tutorial I show you how to switch from webcam capture to desktop capture using a transition effect.

The effect is simple: It is a rectangle that crosses over the video output from right to left and when at the middle you stop the effect, make one of the sources invisible and then you let the effect to continue so to the eye of the spectator it is like magic, one in, the other one out and the transiction separating them.

You can learn how to do it by watching this step-by-step video tutorial.

  1. This design is wicked! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
