How to create a vertical rolling text effect on ScreenCamera.Net

To create a vertical rolling text effect with ScreenCamera.Net you must add a FXS of type text, choose the desired font then type in the text with line breaks if you have to, the text can have one line or multiple lines. At this stage you will have a FXS of type text ready to be animated.

The second part is to animate the text. For that you have to create a key-frame somewhere down the time-line, let’s say frame #60, and after you have the primary key-frame at position #1 which is created by default and another key-frame at frame #60 then what you have to do is: At frame #1 you position the text object bellow the video output, and at frame #60 you move the FXS text to above the video output.

ScreenCamera.Net handles the movement of the text between frame #1 and frame #60 when you play the FXS. If you want the vertical rolling text to roll over and over again then you have to turn on the ‘Cyclical’ option you find under the Animation tab of ScreenCamera.Net FXS editor.
It is all well explained in the video bellow so you can just follow the steps and you will learn it.
